Lead singer/frontman wanted for The Side Effects

The Side Effects are looking for a new frontman and lead singer. As you know we are an energetic and refreshing young band based in North East Hertfordshire and have a growing fanbase. We have been endorsed by Hayden Amps and Ashdown Music and have a number of gigs lined up in Herts and London, we are also back in the studio in February to lay down some new tracks. If you haven’t heard us before please visit our music page to get an idea of our style.

We are after a rock vocalist who enjoys singing original material (we do very few covers) and has a passion for rock as well as having a bit of attitude and stage presence. As stated before we are a young band so ideally you’d be aged 14-16 and live near Ware, Stanstead Abbotts or Hertford. Attention all TSFX’ers, we have a gig at The Square in Harlow on Thursday 3rd November, it promises to be a great night and we are playing with some great bands including Nothing and Dying Breeds.

The Side Effects | Rhodes Centre gig photographs

We had a blast last night and thanks to all our fans for turning up and supporting us at Rhodes Rocks at The Rhodes Centre in Bishops Stortford. We opened the night with 7 numbers that included two covers but unfortunately Billy our lead singer had lost his voice the day before but he still gave a memorable performance earning the respect of his band mates and the crowd.

We really enjoyed playing at this venue and the promoter was obviously pleased as we have been invited back to play again in a few months – we’ll keep you updated of when that will be.

Our next gig is at The Square in Harlow so hopefully we will see you there but in the meantime here are some pictures courtesy of Greenlees Photography:

Yep, that’s right, The Side Effects are playing a gig next Friday 14 October at the Rhodes Complex in Bishops Stortford. we will be playing with four other bands – Futureproof, The Jellycats and Form.
